Patmore brings 25 years of expertise in the gaming industry and will lead the company’s strategy as they navigate the evolving landscape of competitive gaming.
Patmore, the EVP and GM at Humble Bundle, a digital storefront for video games, has held leadership roles at Kixeye, Double Fine Productions and Zynga, where he was GM of Mafia Wars and CityVille. He started his career in 1995 as the founder of Surreal Studios as was the creative visionary behind the Drakan franchise, eventually acquired by Midway Games nine years later.
Patmore joins a team of industry visionaries including Rockstar Games co-founder Gary J. Foreman, who helped create the company’s iconic Grand Theft Auto franchise and at a time of significant growth for the tech startup. Stakester recently inked partnerships with GameByte, the world’s largest competitive gaming community, and Europe’s premier Esports league, ESL, contributing to its viral growth since the app launched last month.
