FIFA 21 fans vote for their player of the season

Which of these superstars would you choose – and who would you have in your FIFA Ultimate Team?

Reaching the end of the season means one thing: it’s time to vote. In your opinion, who was the best player in the world’s greatest league this season? Every football fan enjoys the endless, and ultimately pointless, debate about whether you can compare a ball-winning centre back with a creative midfielder – and it’s time to have your say again.

There are six ballers to choose from, so we’ve put together a handy list to let you know who’s in the running.

Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian King of Liverpool scored 28 goals this season – 22 of them coming in the Premier League. The fact that this has been a poor campaign for Liverpool clearly hasn’t stopped that amazing left foot.

Mason Mount

A Chelsea boy through and through, Mason Mount has really lived the dream this season! He capped a fine Premier League season (which saw him score 6 goals) by winning the Champions League on Saturday at the age of 22. What else is there to say, really?

Harry Kane

No list would be complete without the England goal machine, appearing as a Spurs player for the last time. Despite a thoroughly forgettable season which saw them sack Jose Mourinho, Kane scored 23 goals in the league this year. Surely, it’s time for him to move to a bigger club.

Ruben Dias

The new kid on the block. It’s hard to remember a better first season from a European defender. From the moment he first stepped onto the pitch for Manchester City, Ruben has been exceptional. He helped his team to a title, and looked top class every step of the way.

Bruno Fernandes

The Manchester United talisman was always going to be on the list. His ability to change a game is almost unrivalled at the highest level – and he showed that ability many times over the course of the season. Goals, assists and magical moments are sure to be in good supply next season, when United hope to challenge for the title.

Tomas Souček

Our favourite! Who wouldn’t love to see the lanky Czech take home the season’s most coveted award? After arriving for €21 million, nobody would’ve expected him to take the league by storm… but that’s exactly what he did! He scored 10 goals and helped West Ham back into Europe – you just love to see stories like this.

Jack Grealish

As any Villa fan will tell you – this boy has really got a bit! Villa enjoyed a great season, finishing 11th and comfortably cementing themselves as a force in the league. He struggled with shin splints, and despite missing plenty of games, impressed everyone who saw his silky skills on the ball.

Kevin de Bruyne

What else is there to say about the brilliant Belgian? He can shoot and pass with both feet, he can dribble and he can drag your team through a big game. The only low point of a brilliant season for the world’s best midfielder was a facial injury sustained in the Champions League final. We hope you get well soon, Kevin!

The most important question

Which one of these absolute ballers would you love to see in your team? It might be hard to get your hands on that card, but you can certainly vote for your favourite!
