FIFA 22 Bundesliga TOTS Prediction: Bellingham and Nkunku
The Stakester community has spoken: it’s our Bundesliga Team of the Season prediction, with TOTS Nkunku, Lewandowksi and Kimmich.
The votes are in! Our community has had their say on which players will make the Bundesliga FIFA 22 TOTS. Thousands of votes have been cast, so it’s time to reveal the results. Here’s our FIFA 22 Bundesliga Team of the Season prediction, as voted for by you!
GK – Neuer
The Bayern Munich man is always the first name on the team sheet for Bundesliga TOTS. This season, Neuer has captained his side to the Bundesliga title, as well as keeping 10 clean sheets in 27 league matches – making him a deserving choice for Team of the Season.
Neuer has made the German league’s TOTS for the past 2 years and he’s usually a brick wall, but we all know that keepers are never at the top of anyone’s wish list. Neuer is a legend of the game, but the best he will realistically offer is top rated card for SBCs.
RB – Frimpong
This guy has already had two Future Stars cards, and they’ve been firm favourites for Bundesliga squads. He’s making waves IRL, scoring one goal and making 6 assists for a Bayer Leverkusen side that currently sits in 3rd place.
His TOTS card would be an improvement on his Future Stars card, and with his pace, attacking and defending skills, we think this card will be in high demand. At just 21 years of age, this isn’t the last year you’ll see Frimpong in TOTS!
CB – Upamecano
In 27 games for the Bundesliga winners, Upamecano has made some serious attacking contributions for a centre-back – he’s made 6 assists and scored 1 goal of his own, as well as helping the team to keep 8 clean sheets.
Upamecano’s OTW card has been a firm favourite throughout FIFA 22, racking up almost 20 million games alone! Alongside the standard pace and defending boosts, we think he’ll get a big passing upgrade, which will make him a very desirable item.
CB – Lacroix
Lacroix has been a regular for Wolfsburg, keeping 9 clean sheets. Blessed with pace and athleticism, it looks as if he has the potential to be an all-time great. However, his disciplinary record is pretty shocking – he’s been sent off 3 times!
Last season, his TOTS card went extinct almost immediately. We pulled him from an SBC and he did not disappoint! Top tier place plus general TOTS stats means he’ll be one of the best CBs in the game. Welcome to the million-coin club Maxence.
LB – Alphonso Davies
The Canadian superstar is becoming a FIFA and football fan favourite. In 21 appearances this season, he’s contributed 4 assists for his title-winning team. Despite a brush with myocarditis, he’s still been one of the stand out attacking fullbacks in Europe.
Davies is one of the most popular cards in the game, with his rare gold and Rulebreakers cards racking up over 20 million games played. Unreal pace and dribbling means his TOTS item will be an incredible option at LB or the centre of midfield.
CM – Joshua Kimmich
Time for the big boys! Joshua Kimmich was your vote for CM, and if he’s anything like his FIFA 21 TOTY card, he will be immense. With 3 goals, 11 assists and defensive abilities to rival even the best of CDMs, there is nothing this guy can’t do for Bayern (including playing left back).
Kimmich is a highly versatile and technical card – making him perfect for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. He has the vision and passing to spread play easily, whilst also having quick enough feet to easily glide by defenders. Expect a TOTS item to raise all of his stats significantly, making him an ideal choice to play anywhere in the middle of the field..
CM – Jude Bellingham
In our poll, you agreed overwhelmingly that the Borussia Dortmund baller should make the Bundesliga Team of the Season; and with 19 goal contributions across all competitions this season, it’s no wonder!
Let’s face it, Bellingham’s Future Stars card is a beauty, and a TOTS card means an upgrade to at least 94. He’s the ideal box to box midfielder, with great passing and dribbling. He’s going to be up there with Gravenberch as one of the best CMs in the game.
CAM – Nkunku
There was one name who was never in doubt – and that was Christopher Nkunku. He’s on fire this season, with 20 goals and 15 assists in 33 appearances. Going forward, he’s a machine – and it looks unlikely that RB Leipzig will be able to hold onto him for much longer.
Nkunku has TEN special cards in the game already. For his 11th, we’ll likely see an increase of to a 4* WF, as well as an increase on his already cheetah-like pace. As Ben Foster would say, “what a guy”.
RW – Moussa Diaby
Serge Gnabry was leading the way in our poll, but he featured in the community TOTS. That’s our bad, but either way we won’t be seeing him in this promo. But, Diaby is a very strong second; 14 goals and 13 assists in 31 games is up there with the best winger tallies in Europe!
As for his card, he has pace and short range shooting boxed off, but you can expect his dribbling to go up a notch with a TOTS item. His rulebreakers card was popular for a while in the early game, but we reckon this’ll be one of the TOTS cheap beasts from Germany.
LW – Coman
With 6 goals and 3 assists in 21 matches this season, Coman isn’t going to be in the running for winger of the year. But, there’s no doubt he’s still put in some mega performances and bagged himself two in-forms in FIFA 22.
Saying that, Coman’s gold card was seriously good in the beginning of the game, and he even had a striker version for Winter Wildcards that wracked up a mega 3.1 million games. Coman is a top tier dribbler and his 4* skill moves and weak foot are defo added bonuses – the only issue is his low composure, meaning he probably won’t bang in the goals.
ST – Lewandowski
We thought this one was going to be closer, but let’s face it, Lewandowski definitely deserves this one over Erling Haaland! In 33 games, the 33 year old has scored 34 goals (the league’s top scorer) and assisted 4, he’s one of, if not, the best finishers on the planet and his card will definitely reflect that.
Lewa isn’t that Meta, but if you use him to his strengths then he’s lethal; his TOTY had 99 finishing and 97 composure. So in front of goal, he’s lethal. The downside is that he’s blocky and slow to turn, but you never know what a TOTS upgrade will bring!
Sub – Haaland
There is just no way that this man doesn’t receive a TOTS card ahead of his big move to Man City in the Premier League! He’s been hampered by injury this season, but has still managed to score 21 goals and make 8 assists in 23 matches this season – just incredible numbers when you think about it!
Haaland, along with Lewa, is another who is built like a machine. So whilst he may not be the most agile of players to play with, he’s still going to be a huge presence on the pitch and will score goals from all angles and areas.
What’s your FIFA 22 Bundesliga TOTS Prediction?
That’s it for our guesses, but if there’s anyone you think we missed, let us know! If you’re playing WL, remember to take breaks and get outside in between matches. Good luck out there everyone.
