FIFA 22 TOTW 22 prediction: 90 Sterling, Fabinho and Correa
It’s that time of the week again – time for our Team of the Week predictions for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. There were some top displays across the weekend’s football, and a lot of them were in the Prem; this could be a Prem Squads dream TOTW!
Featured TOTW Item: Mattia Zaccagni
Zaccagni helped his Lazio side to 3 points by slotting home 2 goals, meaning they’re now within touching distance of 4th place Juventus and those important Champions League spots.
Mattia Zaccagni will receive a massive boost from 77 to 84. This means he’ll be propelled from a discard price gold card to a respectable starting option for lower level teams – or even an impact sub for higher level teams who need fresh legs towards the end of a game!
As Man City continued to march on to what seems like a surefire title win, Raheem Sterling bagged himself a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Norwich! He opened his account with a beautiful curled strike into the far corner, headed in for his second and then followed in a rebound from his missed penalty to round off his three goal tally.
At 90 overall, Sterling’s second in-form would make him an appealing prospect for most Prem squads – you can expect to see mid 90s pace, a respectable 85 shooting and dribbling that might even hit 90 too. His one downside is his physicality, but you’ll barely need it when you can just skip past defenders instead!
Liverpool extended their win streak to four games with a 1-0 win over Burnley. It wasn’t the most attractive of victories, but they got the job done thanks to Fabinho’s scrappy goal from a corner. The defensive mid usually helps to protect his back line, but we think adding a goal to his clean sheet performance warrants the upgrade!
His first TOTW card would take Fabinho to an 87 overall, however, given FIFA 22’s pace META, it’s unlikely that he’ll make it into many teams. Instead, you might just find yourself hoping to pack this card so that you have some top quality fodder!
7 goals, 3 penalties and 1 red card – that’s what happened in Atletico Madrid’s crazy game with Getafe. At the heart of the drama (that could have come straight out of FUT Champs) was Correa, who scored 2 crucial goals to help Atleti get over the finish line.
An in-form upgrade would see Correa increase to an 86 overall, making him a powerhouse of a striker with 89 pace, 88 shooting and 90 dribbling. Unlike Sterling, his physicality doesn’t let him down all that much, and with the correct chem style, he’ll be dealing with defensive pressure easily.
Best of the rest
A few extra TOTW items that didn’t make our full list are:
Kieran Trippier – Newcastle United – 86
Gabriel – Arsenal – 84
