FIFA 22 TOTW 24 Prediction: Headliners Mbappe, Kimmich, Clauss

Time to get excited for the biggest FIFA 22 TOTW that we have seen in a long time!

The FIFA 22 TOTW 24 looks like it’s going to be absolutely massive, thanks to the performances of some of football’s biggest superstars! On top of the regular TOTW release, we’ll also be seeing a few headliners upgrades – meaning this week in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is going to be stacked with top cards!

Kylian Mbappé

The French attacker is currently embroiled in a contract crisis at PSG, but that didn’t stop him from being the beating heart of his team’s win over St-Étienne at the weekend. He bagged himself two goals and assisted the third goal for his side in a 3-1 win.

A Headliners upgrade for Mbappe would be a 95 overall and definitely fits right into the META of the game. With maxed out pace and shooting/dribbling stats that are also in the 90s, if you have this card in your attack you’ll be a nightmare for your opponents!

Ousmane Dembele

Second on our list is Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, who after coming on in the second half, provided two assists for his teammates and also netted himself a goal in a 4-0 win. His goal was a rocket into the top corner and both assists were delivered with pinpoint precision!

An 85 Dembele would be a very respectable impact sub at this point in the game – if not a starter! With top pace stats and well-rounded shooting, passing and dribbling, this card has everything you need in a squad player.

Joshua Kimmich

Bayern ground out a 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend, and it was Kimmich who played a lovely through ball to Leroy Sane for the goal. If Bayern are to continue on their march to Bundesliga glory, it’s important that they keep clean sheets and win these kinds of games, and that’s exactly what Kimmich helped them do!

Kimmich will receive a 92 overall TOTW card, but his Headliners card will also see a boost up to 93! Either of the cards will be ideal anchors in the middle of your team, and given that he still has decent pace and shooting, Kimmich is also going to help out going forward!

Dušan Vlahović

Since his move to Juve, Vlahovic has been breathing fresh life into The Old Lady’s attack, and his performance against Empoli was no different. Vlahovic coolly took his chances and buried two goals – the first saw him send most of Empoli’s defence to the shops with a fake shot, and the second was a calm and collected chip over the keeper.

A third in-form for the Serbian national will be an 86 overall. With key attacking stats of shooting, pace, dribbling and physical all being in the mid to high 80’s, this man could be a real powerhouse in your starting XI!

Jonathan Clauss

RC Lens looked set to be heading towards a defeat in their game against a free falling Angers side; that was until their opponents crashed and burned – within 7 minutes Angers had a player sent off, scored a comedy own goal and then conceded a long range effort from Clauss to seal a 2-1 defeat

If you have Clauss’ Headliners card, it’ll be receiving a +1 upgrade to 87 overall. He has the pace, passing and dribbling to be a real danger going forward, and solid defensive and physical stats meaning you won’t suffer at the back if you choose to include him in your squad!

Best of the rest:

Matt Doherty – 82 – Spurs – Doherty became an unlikely hero in Spurs’ 4-0 win over Leeds with a goal and an assist.

Lorenzo Insigne – 87 – Napoli – scored and assisted in Napoli’s late 2-1 win over Lazio.

Renan Lodi – 84 – Atletico Madrid – scored both goals in Atleti’s 2-0 win.
