FIFA 22 TOTW 26 prediction: 92 Ronaldo and 87 Wijnaldum

This week’s Premier-League-heavy team of the week is led by a GOAT of the game!

Around the grounds in Europe, there was once again a bucket full of top tier performances! This means that we have a star-studded lineup for our FIFA 22 TOTW 26 prediction – including the likes of Ronaldo, Wijnaldum and Luis Diaz. Given the quality of players in this week’s potential lineup, it’s likely that a lot of these cards will have the quality to become regular squad players!

Cristiano Ronaldo

We’re kicking off with the man we all know is guaranteed to receive an in-form this week. Ronaldo put three past Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, including an absolute screamer, to secure his own hat trick and the full points haul for Manchester United.

Good news for everyone who has been holding onto Ronaldo’s Ones to Watch card – he’s finally receiving a stat boost! Unlike his other upgraded cards, this 92 Ronaldo will still sit below the 90 threshold for pace, but we all know this card will still be unreal to use;

Georginio Wijnaldum

In a match where PSG fans were still voicing their disappointment towards Messi and Neymar, Wijnaldum managed to shine. The Dutch midfielder set up a goal for Mbappe and helped his team secure a clean sheet.

If you jumped on Wijnaldum’s OTW card when you had the chance to do the squad building challenge, then he’ll be getting an upgrade to 87 overall – making him a very tempting option for any Ligue 1 team!

Luis Diaz

In Liverpool’s game against Brighton at the weekend, Luis Diaz put his body on the line for his new club to score a great header. A fraction of a second later though, he was wiped out by Sanchez in a challenge that would even look out of place on a rugby pitch. We think the solid effort by the Colombian attacker is well worth the reward of a TOTW upgrade.

Diaz’s in-form would be 85 rated, however, if you managed to get your hands on his Headliners card, be prepared for the jump to 89 overall! With pace approaching the max of 99 and incredible shooting and dribbling stats, this card offers everything you’d ever need from a forward.

Thomas Partey

This Arsenal man shone in a 2-0 victory over Leicester that turned out to be a walk in the park. He scored a goal in the 11th minute with a lovely flicked header that Schmeichel couldn’t get to, making Arsenal’s top four prospects look very bright.

A Team of the Week card would be Partey’s first in-form and be rated at 85 overall. Like many cards that don’t make it into the high 80s, an 85 Partey may not be good enough to make it into your first team, but he could be a great squad player and failing that, a lovely bit of fodder!

It looked as if Raphinha was in for a frustrating afternoon after he had been denied by the crossbar twice – that was until he created the 94th minute goal for Gelhardt! With his assist he made sure that Leeds took an important step towards Premier League safety, and we think he’s also secured himself an in-form!

Another in-form would be rated at 86, and his stats would be eye-catching to say the least; great pace and dribbling stats, coupled with very respectable shooting and passing stats for an attacking midfielder – you’ll probably see him pop-up in teams across FIFA 22 Ultimate Team for sure!

The best of the rest

Sommer – 86

Osimhen – 85

Havertz (striker) – 86
