FIFA 22 TOTW 27 prediction: 95 Lewandowski and 91 Son
We look set to see a third in-form 95 Lewandowski in this week’s TOTW!
We’re at the point in FIFA’s game cycle where Team of the Week cards have really fallen down the pecking order when it comes to META cards. But occasionally we receive a gem of a card that is simply mouthwatering – this week, we think we’re set to receive one of those cards. We’re here to tell you all about it in our EA Sports FIFA 22 TOTW 27 prediction!
Even at the ripe old age (for a footballer anyway) of 33, Lewandowski is still throwing up some unbelievable numbers, and his game against Union Berlin was no different. Lewandowski netted 2 goals, including a cool pen and an easy tap in, meaning his record 41 goal campaign from last season edges closer and closer to being beaten already!
Any potential in-form would be a whopping 95, with an upgrade on his previous 82 pace, he’ll be quick enough to keep up with the META with the right chem style. He’ll have some of the best shooting in the game and also the physicality to offer a different angle when attacking the opposition – overall, a great addition to any team.
Heung Min Son
Here’s another card that will get tongues wagging – Heung Min Son had a stormer against West Ham and scored 2 goals, and we think he’s done enough to earn himself a TOTW card. His 2 goals helped Spurs to a 3-1 victory over West Ham and made sure that they’re still in the running for that top four spot.
Son’s Team of the Week in-form will be a 91 overall, with some pretty juiced up attacking stats: 90 pace, 89 shooting and 88 dribbling. All in all, this is another exciting card that we think many players will be more than happy to slide into their teams.
Liverpool continued their push to win the league with a 2-0 win over Arsenal. At the heart of one of the goals was Andrew Robertson, one half of Liverpool’s incredible fullback duo, who popped up with an assist for Firmino’s goal.
The in-form that Robbo would receive will be 89 overall, and he will have a very well-rounded card, with only his shooting stats lacking. His 83 passing will be more than enough to recreate those pinpoint crosses after a burst of pace into the opposition half, and he also has brilliant defending stats – unlike a lot of attacking fullbacks in FUT 22.
Wissam Ben Yedder
Monaco managed to compound the misery that PSG are currently going through at the minute with a 3-0 win over the Parisians. The man at the middle of it was Wissam Ben Yedder, who bagged two goals in the game.
A second in-form special card for Ben Yedder would be 87 overall and has some tasty looking stats, including 87 pace, 87 shooting and 90 dribbling. The Frenchman would be a catalyst in any team’s front line!
Atletico kept it cool with a 1-0 win over their opposition this weekend, but one man stood out thanks to his 49th minute pearl of a goal, which he guided like a missile through the legs of a defender!
Koke’s card would be an 86 overall, and would make for a solid defensive midfielder if you find a way to increase his pace slightly. We can’t lie though, this one is probably heading to the SBC fodder!
The best of the rest:
Axel Witsel – scored in 1-0 win over Mainz
Bernd Leno – kept a clean sheet against Villa
Tammy Abraham – scored twice in 3-0 win over Lazio
