FIFA 22 TOTW 21 Prediction: Dani Alves, Headliners Zakaria

It’s Monday and that can only mean one thing: Stakester is back with our FIFA 22 TOTW 21 prediction! Once again, there have been a number of exciting top performers over the last week, and that means we’ll be seeing some very usable FIFA Ultimate Team cards entering packs on Wednesday.

Alves was a regular in Barca’s starting lineup during his first stint with the club, but even at 38, after his return on a free transfer, Alves proved he still has plenty of sauce left in the tank. He managed a classy crossing assist for Alba’s volley and then drilled one home later in the half himself.

This one’s an odd one as Alves didn’t have a club at the start of the game, so he’s not actually in Ultimate Team. However, EA Sports could definitely add a little spice to this week’s TOTW by adding him in as the featured item. Our prediction of an 84 overall is a bold one, but it’s deserving for a legend of the game!

Headliners Upgrade: Denis Zakaria

Headliners Zakaria prediction

Juventus have been struggling in this year’s league campaign, but they proved they have had an excellent transfer window when both Zakaria and Vlahovic netted on their debuts

An in-form for Zakaria would see him receive an 85 overall rating, however, his Headliners card will increase even further to 87! So, anyone who did the Headliner Zakaria objective, GGs because he’s paying off! With amazing pace and incredible strength and defending, he’s the perfect DM.

Jordi Alba

Another Barca man makes our list, how could he not after THAT volley?! He’s another player in Barcelona’s 30+ club, but just like his teammate Alves, he’s showing just why he’s keeping his place in the team.

Alba would be set to receive an 87 in-form, which would see him become a solid option for any La Liga/hybrid squad. The only question that would remain is whether his pace fully makes up for his complete lack in physicality…

Wassim Ben Yedder

Ben Yedder bagged a goal and an assist for Monaco in their 2-0 win over Lyon. It’s led many to say that Ben Yedder is now undroppable for Monaco! Ben Yedder’s stunning performance takes his season’s tally to 14 goals and 4 assists in 22 games.

This in-form would be the French attacker’s second of FIFA 22, meaning he would be an 87 overall. The card would be very well-rounded, with most stats being in the 80s or 90s – the only downside is his physicality, but that’s nothing that the right chem style can’t fix!

Anderson Talisca

Talisca put in a brilliant performance for Al-Nassr, racking up 2 goals and an assist in their push for top spot in the Saudi Pro League.

Talisca will be receiving an 86 in-form, but the more appealing card will be his 87 Ones to Watch. The only problem is fitting him into your team – Saudi Pro League squads haven’t exactly been popular in FUT.

The best of the rest:

  • Olivier Giroud – AC Milan – 82. Giroud bagged both goals in the Milan derby!
  • Marco Asensio – Real Madrid – 85. Asensio scored the only goal in Madrid’s win over Granada.
  • Pau Torres – Villareal – 86. Torres continued to make good on his potential and scored in Villareal’s win over Betis.

And that completes our FIFA 22 TOTW prediction for this week.
