PSG, Chelsea & Madrid players react to their FIFA 23 ratings
Mbappe was pleased with his rating, but the same can’t be said for the rest of the players in the release videos!
Every year, we get to watch some of the world’s top footballing talent throw tantrums as they moan about their new FIFA ratings. This year is no different, and the time is once again upon us; we’ve got the best reaction videos to FIFA 23 ratings from across the top 6 leagues!
Bayer 04 Leverkusen
First up, we’ve got the lads from Bayern Leverkusen – Hudson-Odoi, Frimpong and Fosu-Mensa. Compared to the team behind FIFA 23’s ratings, the trio have really high opinions of each other, but it isn’t long before they change their tune. Fosu-Mensah ends up with a 73 rated card (and rages at his 67 pace stat, after his teammates rated him as 85), Frimpong secures himself an 80 overall, and Hudson-Odoi walks away with a 77 overall.
In the French capital, Mbappe, Ramos, Marquinhos and Kimpembe were quizzed with the help of a lie detector machine. Mbappe, who has the best base card (91 overall) in the game, was understandably happy with his rating, but that wasn’t the case for his team mates; most of them said there is definitely room for improvement in at least a few of the stats.
J-Lingz and Gibbs took the honours of handing out player cards to their teammates at Notts Forest. Neco Williams ended up taking his rating to heart, and it looks as if he will be on a mission this season to prove he deserves a gold card in FIFA 24.
Havertz and Pulisic also faced the lie detector test, in part delivered by Loftus-Cheek. Both of these attackers were disappointed that their cards hadn’t improved much since FIFA 22, with Pulisic being at 82 and Havertz 84 respectively.
Over in the Bundesliga, Lacroix and all of his Wolfsburg teammates also received their ratings. If we’re being honest, YouTube’s auto translation subtitles weren’t much help here – but you just know at least one average baller was complaining about his pace in this video!
The team behind the Real reveal really went to town; they had Rodrygo, Vini junior, Valverde and Tchouameni go head to head in different skill games to rate their attributes. Valverde and Rodrygo came out on top in the minigames, but it was Vinicius Jr. who won the ratings with his 86 overall!
FIFA 23 is available for everyone on the 30th of September. You’ll be able to test out all of the new player cards and their FIFA 23 ratings then!
