BetRivers Integrates Crypto Payments Through BurraPay Partnership

Rush Street Interactive (RSI), the operator behind BetRivers Casino and Sportsbook, has officially partnered with BurraPay to bring crypto payments into its real-money and sweepstakes gaming ecosystem. 

The integration will allow players to fund their BetRivers accounts with cryptocurrency, marking the first major U.S. rollout of a fully compliant crypto payment rail in licensed gaming.

The feature will be introduced on a state-by-state basis, subject to approval by local gaming regulators.

BetRivers: Casino, Sports, and Sweepstakes—Now With Crypto

BetRivers offers sports betting in 15 U.S. states and online casino gaming in Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Delaware. 

With this new partnership, BetRivers becomes the first regulated operator in the U.S. to adopt crypto deposits across casino, sports betting, and sweepstakes casino experiences, depending on jurisdiction.

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz said the crypto funding option will enhance the user experience: “This reinforces our commitment to putting our players first.”

BurraPay’s Patent-Backed Infrastructure

Based in New Jersey, BurraPay brings with it two exclusive U.S. patents for “Digital Currency in a Gaming System.” Its tech enables operator-controlled digital wallets that meet all major regulatory benchmarks: AML, KYC, KYT, and CTF.

Players will be able to use any crypto wallet or exchange that connects with the system. BurraPay’s platform is built to serve licensed operators, not unregulated markets, positioning it for broad adoption across the U.S. as rules evolve.
