Betty Sweeps Hits Pause on Purchases for Minnesota and Utah Users
Heads up, players from Utah and Minnesota: Betty Sweeps has paused its coin purchases after Relax Gaming’s exit

Betty Sweeps, an NY-based sweeps casino platform, has hit the brakes, at least for its virtual coin purchases. In an email to players, the management informed users that it's ending coin purchases (like Gold Coins or GCs), as of December 1st, 2025.
This pause doesn’t mean that Betty Sweeps is exiting both states; it’s a temporary policy while the operator is looking for another software partner after seeing Relax Gaming exit.
What’s Happening at Betty Sweeps?

Betty Sweeps isn’t the only brand pausing coin gameplays or exiting states. VGW’s Chumba Casino and LuckyLand Slots are planning to leave California, with Stake.us, exiting too, before Christmas. Betty Sweep’s decision is related to Relax Gaming’s decision to pull out its games from the Utah and Minnesota markets.
Without these sweepstakes casino games, Betty Sweeps decided to “temporarily stop purchases” until it can work on another content arrangement.
In an email, Betty Sweeps notified its users that purchases have been paused. However, it assured its players that all is well.
It added that they’re “bringing in new providers and fresh games soon”, and promised its players that they’ll share the news when it becomes available.
Betty Sweeps Struggle with Regulatory Pressure

Currently, Betty Sweeps isn’t available in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and West Virginia.
Coin purchases in Utah and Minnesota are on hold, but we’re expecting that they will resume before the year ends.
Betty Sweeps hasn’t released an official date, as of this writing.
