Stake.us and Four Additional Sweepstakes Operators Announce Departure from Tennessee
Stake.us Joins 4 other sweeps operators in exiting Tennessee

The Tennessee sweepstakes casino market gets busy this week with a slew of exits, led by Stake.us. Reports suggest that Stake, together with High 5 Casino, LoneStar Casino, and RealPrize, are all leaving the state before the year ends. The rush of exits suggests the possible release of cease-and-desist orders that aren’t publicly available, or planned legal and legislative inquiries.
There are talks that either the state’s Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti or Tennessee’s Sports Wagering Council is driving the campaign against sweepstakes casino operators.
Shifts in Regulatory Landscape Push Some Operators Out of State

According to a Stake.us customer support representative, the shift in the operator’s roadmap is due to increasing regulations. The company has confirmed that it will add Tennessee to its list of restricted states effective December 19th. Once completed, players will no longer have access to Sweeps and Gold Coins gameplay, leading to a complete platform shutdown.
Operators responded in different ways to the changing sweeps regulations in Tennessee. LoneStar and RealPrize, for example, sent emails to their players announcing their decision to end their operations.
In the email, the company informs its players about the changes in its Terms and Conditions for both existing and new accounts. The company announced that “starting November 24, 2025, RealPrize is phasing out Promotional Play (Sweeps Coins) in the state of Tennessee”. This means that by November 24th, all players can no longer participate in promotional play.
Stake.us and High 5 Casino Alert Players Over Changes
Stake.us is also pulling out all of its services before the year ends. RealPrize and LoneStar, on the other hand, still give their players the chance to access the platforms through Gold Coins (GC) gameplay, or free play without the opportunity for redemption.
High 5 Casino has also alerted its players via email. The company announced that it’s stopping its services in Tennessee, and the exit shall happen in two phases. On November 17th, new players are no longer allowed to register new accounts, and existing players can no longer purchase Gold Coin packages. And by November 24th, the platform is no longer accessible for sweeps play.
