VGW Drops a Bombshell – UNITED SLOTS Could Send LuckyLand Slots Packing

As many sweepstakes casinos plan their exits or revamp their business models, the industry’s biggest operator is looking further ahead. After acknowledging the rollout of LuckyLand Casino, VGW is looking at another sweeps casino brand in the pipeline: UNITED SLOTS. 

Unlike LuckyLand Casino, there isn't much information available. Here's what we know: the terms and conditions (T&Cs) are not yet updated, and pre-registration is not yet allowed. We think it's going to operate with a Maltese remote license, and a US trademark application has already been filed last November 12th.

VGW Shows Resilience While Pushing for its Two New Brands

In a recent interview, a VGW spokesperson confirmed the launch of LuckyLand Casino, describing it as an expansion of the LuckyLand ecosystem. The company describes the new platform as a “vibrant new social casino with dazzling games, social live casino, thrilling jackpots, and industry-leading customer protections”.

This domain is now live, offering limited information, including licensing information and a pre-registration link. 

VGW updated its Terms of Service last November 24th, suggesting an imminent launch. 

The company hasn’t officially released information about the types of games and vendors that it will be using.

However, some reports suggest that the new LuckyLand Casino will also feature the sweepstakes casino standards, such as slot machines, instant win games, and card games.

Is VGW Preparing Another Gaming Platform?

While the spotlight is on LuckyLand Casino, VGW is setting the groundwork for another gaming brand: UNITED SLOTS.

Reports suggest that VGW filed a US trademark application for "UNITED SLOTS" on November 12, 2024, and it’s listed as one of the domains under the company’s Malta license. VGW’s application comes with a 98849604 serial number, and lists its services as “social casino-style games and sweepstakes and downloadable game software featuring social sweepstakes games”.

However, VGW hasn't released an official statement about its plan and new addition to its portfolio.

VGW Pushing Ahead With Revamped Strategy

VGW’s parallel development of UNITED SLOTS and LuckyLand Casino suggests that it’s moving towards an expanded multi-brand sweepstakes strategy, potentially updating or even replacing an old brand (LuckyLand Slots). 

Also, this isn’t a new strategy, as some operators like A1 Development and B2Services have tried this approach, but with a much bigger portfolio.
