What I found interesting was that Spinova brings a series of titles from lesser-known developers such as Casino Web Scripts. This made the selection not only broad but also unique.

I scrutinised the quality here, especially given that these developers aren't the most popular, and I must say I was pleased on this front too. The animations and the themes were a bit simple, but the overall quality was evident.

Slot enthusiasts can find a host of themed and jackpot-heavy slots, with table games such as poker and blackjack also on offer. However, there was no sportsbook on show, and the live dealer section left much to be desired. 

Mobile Experience

Accessing Spinova from my Android smartphone was a breeze. The games looked well designed for smaller screens, and I enjoyed the casino's overall theme in these dimensions. The graphics were a tad simple for my liking, but that was a quality shared across devices. 

The darker colours were slightly off-putting for a handheld device, but in general, I couldn't split my preferences. The experience was high quality on both desktop and mobile.

Redemption Process

It is worth noting that the first redemption will take the longest, as this is where verification and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks are first carried out.

There is a $5,000 maximum redemption limit and while my redemptions only took just over a day, there is no documentation at Spinova to suggest how long this will take on average.

Tax Reporting: Remember that sweepstakes winnings are fully taxable as gambling income. All winnings should be reported on a Form 1040, regardless of the amount. For winnings over $600, a Form 1099-MISC should be expected with a W-2G for those over $5,000.

Responsible Gambling
