Dice by Stakester Originals

Pretend wallet. No real money, no sweepstakes entries, no account.

Runs in your browser, nothing to install.

Stakester Originals are built by Stakester, the company behind this directory. The odds and rules on these pages come from the games' published documentation, and our casino rankings are not affected by whether a casino carries them.

Provably fair, in three steps

  1. 1. Commit

Before you stake, the game publishes the hash of the server seed the round will use.

  2. 2. Play

The result is computed from that seed, a client seed your browser holds and a nonce, with HMAC-SHA256.

  3. 3. Reveal

When the round closes the seed is revealed, so you can recompute the result and check the hash.

Rules, odds and how to play

How to play

Dice is the simplest original there is. Set your stake, slide the target so your win chance sits anywhere from 2 to 98 percent, and choose whether the roll has to land under or over it. Press Roll and the game draws a number from 0.00 to 99.99. If it lands on your side of the target you win; if not, the stake is gone.

The slider does the maths for you. A low target with Roll Under is a long shot that pays a lot; a high target is almost a coin flip that pays a little more than your stake. Win chance, multiplier and profit on win update live as you move it, so you always know the deal before you roll.

Rules at a glance

  • The roll is a whole number from 0 to 9,999, shown as 0.00 to 99.99.
  • Roll Under wins when the roll is below the target; Roll Over wins when it is above it.
  • The win chance can be set anywhere from 2 percent to 98 percent at the default rules.
  • Every round is one stake and one roll, settled the moment it lands.

Odds and payouts

The multiplier is 99 divided by your win chance in percent, so at the default rules every selection returns 99.0 percent of stakes over time: a 1 percent house edge however you play. A 50 percent chance pays 1.98×, a 10 percent chance 9.9×, and the 2 percent long shot 49.5×. Payouts are rounded down to the cent.

Provably fair

Before you stake, the game commits to a server seed by publishing its hash. The roll is computed from that seed, a client seed your browser holds, and a nonce, using HMAC-SHA256. The server seed is committed by its hash before you stake and revealed when the round closes, so you can recompute the result and check that the hash matches. The Fairness panel inside the game shows the seeds and the formula. In the free demo the server seed is generated in your own browser, so the check is a demonstration rather than independent proof; at a casino the game service holds the seed.

Playing it well

No strategy beats a 1 percent edge, but Dice gives you full control over variance. Low targets with Roll Under swing hard; chances near 90 percent grind slowly. Pick the ride you want, set a stake you can afford to lose, and stop when the session budget is gone.

Dice FAQs

Is Stakester Dice rigged?

No. Every roll is provably fair: the server seed is committed by its hash before you bet and revealed afterwards, so any roll can be recomputed and checked against the hash.

What is the RTP of Dice?

99.0 percent at the default rules, for every target. A casino may configure its own house edge; the win chance and multiplier shown in the game always reflect the live rules.

What is the biggest multiplier in Dice?

49.5× at the default rules, which comes with a 2 percent chance of winning. The lowest is 1.0102× at a 98 percent chance.

Can I play Dice for free?

Yes. The demo on this page runs the real game with a pretend wallet. No real money and no sweepstakes entries are involved.

Where can I play Dice with Sweeps Coins?

At the sweepstakes casinos listed under "Where to play" on this page. ZumbaCards was the first casino to carry Stakester Originals.
