How to play

Type the multiplier you want, from 1.01× all the way up to 1,000,000×, set your stake and press Bet. The game produces a result multiplier; if it is at least your target, you win the stake times your target. If it falls short, the stake is lost. Low targets win almost every time for a sliver of profit; high targets win rarely and pay a fortune.

Odds and payouts

The chance of reaching a target is 98 divided by the target, in percent: 97.0 percent at 1.01×, 49.0 percent at 2.00×, 0.98 percent at 100× and about one in a million at the top. Because the payout is the target itself, every selection returns 98.0 percent of stakes over time.

Provably fair

One draw from the server seed, your client seed and a nonce gives a number between 0 and 100 million; the result multiplier is a fixed formula of that number, rounded down to two decimals. The server seed is committed by its hash before you stake and revealed when the round closes, so you can recompute the result and check that the hash matches. The Fairness panel inside the game shows the seeds and the formula. In the free demo the server seed is generated in your own browser, so the check is a demonstration rather than independent proof; at a casino the game service holds the seed.

Playing it well

Limbo is pure variance control. A 1.5× target is a slow grind with a 65 percent win rate; 10× wins one bet in ten. Set the stake by the target: a few big misses at 50× should not end the session.
