How to play

Place chips on the layout: single numbers, splits, streets, corners, lines, dozens, columns, or the even-money bets on red or black, odd or even, low or high. Spin, and the ball settles in one of 37 pockets. Every bet covering the winning number pays at its own odds; the rest are lost.

Rules at a glance

Odds and payouts

On the single-zero wheel every bet type returns 97.3 percent: a 2.7 percent house edge that comes entirely from the zero. A straight-up number wins once in 37 spins and pays 36 times the stake back; red or black wins 18 times in 37 and pays double. The American wheel lowers the return to 94.7 percent, and its five-number basket bet to 92.1 percent.

Provably fair

One draw over the 37 pockets fixes the spin, computed from the server seed, your client seed and a nonce. The server seed is committed by its hash before you stake and revealed when the round closes, so you can recompute the result and check that the hash matches. The Fairness panel inside the game shows the seeds and the formula. In the free demo the server seed is generated in your own browser, so the check is a demonstration rather than independent proof; at a casino the game service holds the seed.

Every bet on the European wheel carries the same edge, so spread your chips the way you enjoy. Stay on the European wheel where you can; the zero is the only thing working against you.
